The Yellow Brick Road seems to have been so long ago. But the training and exercise that led up to the final challenege run seemed to drag on forever. When the day approached it looked as though the weather was going to close the run route. Snow and ice had covered the trails and about 1/2 of the class decided to run the route the weekend before the actual run date.

When the date for our offical challenge run came (The Yellow Brick Road) and it was cancelled; it was a relief to know that so many had opted to run the course during the weekend before. Some of our academy grads missed out on this experience but a few of us didn't.
